Andreu Barberá has manufactured steel doors at Paterna, near Valencia, since 1972, and tested its first fire-rated door in 1982 in the aftermath of the Corona de Aragón hotel fire. Its Turia and Delta ranges are published with EN 13501-2 classifications EI2 30, EI2 60, EI2 90 and EI2 120, the Turia Premium listed at EI2 60 and EI2 120 C5. The firm’s homologaciones page states that every fire door is homologated by accredited laboratories and that each door carries an identification plate giving its fire resistance and test report number. It sits on TECNIFUEGO’s passive-protection manufacturers’ committee. Its AENOR ISO 9001 certificate is a management system and is not the evidence relied on here; no notified body number is published.
