Belgium’s fire and security testing, inspection and certification body, at the Fleming science park in Louvain-la-Neuve. Its laboratories test the fire and intruder protection equipment on the Belgian market, and its certification division issues BOSEC, which it describes as the only accredited Belgian mark covering the whole fire safety chain — products, systems and the specialist companies that install and maintain them. Accredited by BELAC as a certification body (003-PROD) and as an inspection body for fire protection and intruder installations (003-INSP, to EN ISO/IEC 17020), and designated notified body 1134 under the Construction Products Regulation. It also holds accreditation and licences for its inspection work in the Netherlands.
