The product testing arm of the Australian Wool Testing Authority, NATA-accredited (983) to ISO/IEC 17025 since 1978 and one of the most widely used Australian laboratories for reaction to fire work. Its fire scope covers AS 1530 Parts 1, 2 and 3 and cone calorimetry to AS/NZS 3837 and the ISO 5660 series, which between them produce the NCC fire performance evidence for external cladding, pliable membranes, wall and ceiling linings, floor coverings and upholstered furniture. Textile, children’s nightwear, firefighter ensemble and FAR aeronautical flammability testing run on the same site.
