Beijing New Building Materials (北新集团建材股份, Shenzhen Stock Exchange 000786) is China’s largest gypsum plasterboard producer, selling under the Dragon and Taishan brands as a subsidiary of CNBM. Its Type DBX-1 board is UL Classified under file R19374 in category CKNX and is named as a permitted gypsum board in UL 263 and ASTM E119 fire-resistance designs including U356, U357, U397 and V319, so it can be specified directly into North American rated wall and floor-ceiling assemblies. It is the only Chinese-owned gypsum board with a live UL classification. The wider range covers mineral wool ceilings, keel systems and jointing compounds.
