Bettati Antincendio designs and manufactures fixed extinguishing systems at Reggio Emilia, having started in 1980 with portable extinguishers. Its certifications page publishes VdS system approvals for FK-5-1-12 and HFC-227ea systems, both issued in 2020, and for inert gas systems, issued in 2017 — full system approvals rather than component listings. It additionally holds RINA type approvals for valves for halocarbon systems covering HFC-125, HFC-227ea, HFC-23 and CO2, and for 300 bar high-pressure inert gas, together with CE conformity certificates issued in 2011 by the Istituto Ricerche e Collaudi M. Masini for constant-flow, directional, cylinder and check valves. Product lines span chemical clean agent at 70 and 80 bar, CO2, inert gas and water mist.
