Dr J H Burgoyne & Partners LLP, trading as Burgoynes, is an international partnership of consulting scientists and engineers founded in 1968 that investigates fires, explosions and other major incidents for insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors, police forces and government departments. Partners are credentialled court experts: Mark Cousins is an IAAI Certified Fire Investigator (BEng CEng MIET IAAI-CFI, MFireInv) who has investigated over 900 fires and explosions, and Ian Griffiths and Dr Neil Sanders have presented expert testimony in the High Court and overseas. Casework spans Flixborough, King’s Cross, Piper Alpha, Windsor Castle, Buncefield and the Cutty Sark, from eight UK offices plus Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and Australia.
