CONSEC was founded in 2002 by Jöran Jilg, in the security industry since the 1980s, and its name is CONsulting plus SECurity. It holds SBSC certificate 2-1027 as besiktningsfirma brandskyddsanläggningar under SBF 1003:5, covering delivery and revision inspection of fire alarm to SBF 110 and sprinkler to SBF 120 — the annual inspection Swedish rules require, with no more than fifteen months between them — and also takes contract inspections under AB04 and ABT06. Its consultancy side runs from tender enquiry through project management and control to final inspection, across fire alarm, voice alarm, sprinkler, residential and mist sprinkler, mechanical and electronic intruder protection, CCTV and access control.
