A Wellington investigation practice whose specialist forensic fire team determines origin and cause for insurers and their lawyers, and gives evidence in the District and High Courts. Managing director Russell Joseph spent nineteen years as a detective senior sergeant in the New Zealand Police before two decades in private fire investigation, has attended more than 3,000 fires and is a past president of the New Zealand Association of Fire Investigators, IAAI Chapter 45; his reported work includes the New Zealand International Convention Centre roof fire, the 2017 Port Hills fires and the Ashburton Work and Income shooting. Brad Joseph and Grant Weavers both hold a Master of Arts in fire investigation and have given expert evidence, and the practice also retains a chartered electrical engineer for ignition-source analysis.
