A testing and certification company at Bollate, north of Milan, and part of the IMQ group. It is ACCREDIA-accredited for the fire resistance classification of load-bearing and separating elements, horizontal and vertical, in civil and industrial construction — a scope it describes as unique in Italy in several respects — and is authorised by the Ministero dell’Interno for reaction-to-fire testing, the authorisation an Italian reaction-to-fire classification depends on. It is notified body 0497 under the Construction Products Regulation 305/2011, and also runs reaction-to-fire testing for marine equipment under the MED and for upholstered furniture and furnishing materials.
