Delhi Test House was founded in 1975 and is a multi-discipline testing laboratory. Its fire work covers portable fire extinguishers (IS 15683), wheeled fire extinguishers (IS 16018), dry chemical powders (IS 4308, IS 14609) and foam concentrates (IS 4989), alongside cables, electrical and electronic products, building materials, food and water. It is recognised by the Bureau of Indian Standards (OSL code 9138006, Kundli-2 unit, Sonipat) to test portable and wheeled fire extinguishers to IS 15683 and IS 16018, and its site states NABL accreditation.
