Ekovent manufactures smoke-control and fire dampers at Vellinge outside Malmö from two factories totalling ten thousand square metres, with around seventy employees, and is part of the Swedish Lindab group. Its smoke-control damper range is declared on its own product page as CE-marked under certificate 2531-CPR-CVC10003 from DBI Certification, notified body 2531, in classes from E30S to E120S. Its fire and smoke damper declaration of performance separately states that RISE, notified body 0402, carried out type testing under system 1 and issued certificate 0402-CPR-SC0845-13, declaring EI 60 with smoke leakage to EN 13501-3 under EN 15650:2010.
