GESTE is a Renens engineering house (an EPFL spin-off) whose fire-safety division is a genuine fire-safety-engineering practice for complex and infrastructure projects — hospitals, stadiums, underground railway stations and tunnels. It builds global fire-safety strategies backed by CFD smoke-control simulation, pedestrian-flow evacuation modelling and structural fire-resistance calculation. Its fire outputs are an engineering aid to professional judgement, not a substitute.
