Founded in 1994 and unusual in holding ANAB accreditation on all three limbs at once — ISO/IEC 17025 as a fire testing laboratory, ISO/IEC 17020 as an inspection body and ISO/IEC 17065 as a product certification body — recognised internationally through ILAC and APAC. It is approved to test to UL, ASTM, NFPA, CSA and ULC standards including ASTM E119, so a product can be tested, its factory inspected and its listing issued without changing bodies. Its laboratory is at Buffalo and its head office at Cobleskill, both in New York. No ANAB accreditation number is published on its credentials page, so none is quoted here.
