Its fire work covers reaction to fire, fire resistance, smoke tightness, self-closing and continuous-operation performance, radiation limitation and hardware release, and it certifies to EN 16034 for fire-resisting and smoke-control windows, doors and gates. It is also a testing body recognised under the state building codes. Its notified product certification body for fire safety operates from a separate site at Nuremberg.
