Indian Fire Equipment Systems was founded in 2000 to manufacture passive fire protection products, chiefly FD60 and FD120 steel fire doors in single-leaf, double-leaf and vision-panel versions, along with wooden, acoustic and glazed fire doors. It also supplies fire curtains, fire-rated glazing and door hardware, and provides NOC documentation to projects across India. Its products are tested at CBRI Roorkee, and its factory is subject to BIS surveillance audits. It holds a BIS (ISI mark) licence under IS 3614 for fire check doors.
