The Meide group (玫德集团) runs a malleable and ductile iron foundry complex at Pingyin, Jinan, producing grooved couplings and fittings, check and butterfly valves and braided flexible sprinkler connectors. It is the most heavily LPCB-certified Chinese supplier of sprinkler pipework components, holding certificate 988a for pipe couplings to LPS 1219 Issue 3, 988b for H84X grooved check valves to LPS 1186, 988c for D381X butterfly valves to LPS 1185 and 1735a for MECH FBC2-series flexible sprinkler connectors to LPS 1261, together with UL file EX26413 under CCN HLXS for fire-protection valves. Certified working pressures reach twenty-five bar, and the LPS 1261 flexible-drop certification is unusual outside Europe and North America.
