Kiwa holds RvA accreditation L015 for testing to EN ISO/IEC 17025 and C002 for product certification to EN ISO/IEC 17065, and Kiwa Nederland issues its CE certification under a single notified body number, 0063, designated by the Dutch government under the Construction Products Regulation and the Marine Equipment Directive among others. It is a recognised conformity assessment body for Switzerland and is recognised by the UAE Ministry of Interior Civil Defence for fire detection and fire alarm systems, and its K21045 scheme certifies fire protection systems. The group operates more than a hundred laboratories, mainly in Europe and the Far East. Its UK fire-safety business trades on its own site as International Fire Consultants and is listed under fire engineering.
