McGowan Insulation has traded from Stoney Creek near Hamilton since 1972, working with architects, engineers and building officials on insulation and passive fire protection. The firm states on its own site that it is a member of the Firestop Contractors International Association and of Underwriters Laboratories. It is one of ten Canadian firms on the FCIA register carrying UL Solutions Qualified Firestop Contractor accreditation.
