MCR Tecresa manufactures a full passive fire protection range in Spain — Tecwool sprayed mortars, Tecplaster gypsum mortar, Tecbor boards, Teclack-W intumescent paint and Tecsel penetration seals — from Leganés in Madrid with delegations in Zaragoza, Gijón and Utrera. Its Tecbor boards are CE marked under European Technical Assessment ETE 18/1017, issued against EAD 350142-00-1106 approved by EOTA. Tecwool is described on the company’s own page as the first sprayed rock-wool mortar to obtain CE marking, under DITE 11/0185, and is classified Euroclase A1 for reaction to fire under UNE-EN 13501-1. Quality certification is held with Applus+. The company is part of the Polish Mercor group while manufacturing and trading in Spain under its own brand.
