Notified body 0800 under the Construction Products Regulation, a testing laboratory to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and a certification body to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065, with structural fire protection as one of its declared business divisions and around 125 staff across construction materials, building physics, load-bearing structures and acoustics. It runs standard fire tests to DIN 4102-20 and BS 8414-1 among others, and its façade fire test stations are among the few in Germany able to burn a complete external wall build-up at full scale. It is also a testing body recognised under the state building codes, which is what allows it to issue an allgemeines bauaufsichtliches Prüfzeugnis. The fire testing facility is on its own site at Laue, near Delitzsch, north of Leipzig.
