Mitras Technocrafts Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, makes MITRAS brand fire safety equipment, including fire hoses, hose reels, fire extinguishers, hydrants, fire detection systems and specialty hoses. It was founded in 1988 by B.S. Mitra and works in polymer processing. It has an in-house quality-control laboratory with NABL accreditation, and serves oil and gas, power, aviation, ports and defence. It holds a BIS (ISI mark) licence under IS 636 for its fire hoses.
