Otto Weich Brandmeldetechnik was founded in 2003 as the fire alarm arm of the Otto Weich electrical business in Elmshorn and works exclusively on fire detection and alarm installations. The company publishes its TÜV Rheinland certificate for DIN 14675 on its own site, having been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 in September 2003 and to DIN 14675 in November 2003, and additionally holds a ZDH-ZERT certificate and a DIN 18232-10 competence certificate for smoke and heat exhaust work. It has been a prequalified public-works contractor since 2010.
