Réseau DEF designs and manufactures fire detectors, control and indicating equipment and CMSI panels in its own French plants, and installs and maintains them through its network companies. Its detection pages state that equipment may only be called a détecteur incendie where it is NF-certified, and that the group holds APSAD certification against rule R7, covering the design, installation, operation and maintenance of automatic fire detection; its mechanical smoke-control activity is certified APSAD I17 and F17. The group reports around 2,580 staff and thirteen industrial sites.
