A purpose-built 1,000 m² fire resistance laboratory at Lawnton, NATA-accredited (20089) to ISO/IEC 17025 since 2019. Doorsets, fire dampers, ventilation ducts, walls, ceiling and floor systems, glazing, protected steelwork and penetration seals are tested to AS 1530.4 and BS 476 Parts 20 and 22, with smoke leakage testing for smoke and heat control systems alongside. The furnaces take specimens up to 3.0 m × 2.4 m vertically and 1.65 m square horizontally, which is the constraint worth checking before a system is designed around a test.
