Sachverständigenbüro Knorr investigates fire, explosion and arson cases in Germany and neighbouring countries to NFPA 921 methodology, including computer-assisted fire simulation. Principal Ing. Markus Knorr, M.Sc., holds the NAFI Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) credential — the only US forensic personnel credential positively confirmed on a German practitioner’s own site during this research — and is founding first chairman of the D-A-CH Verband Brandursachenermittlung. He is a member of the IAAI and its European chapter E-AFI. The practice runs a dedicated laboratory and logistics site in Solingen alongside its Velbert head office.
