Spira Fire Protection was founded in Guelph in 1972 by William Spira as a mechanical contractor and refocused on fire protection under its current name in 1995. It employs around thirty-five full-time certified automatic sprinkler installers plus office staff, and covers installation, inspection and maintenance across southern Ontario. It is a CASA contractor member.
