Employee-owned architecture and engineering firm founded in 1946 (Sherlock, Smith & Adams) with a dedicated fire protection engineering department. The department carries out existing-facility fire protection assessments, life safety analysis and design, building code analysis, fire alarm and mass notification design, suppression system design, and water supply testing and analysis. Its engineers hold Professional Engineer licences in both mechanical and fire protection engineering. Much of its work is for healthcare and institutional clients.
