Systems Commissioning is the certified testing and balancing arm of the Houston mechanical contractor Gowan/Garrett. It tests, adjusts, balances and repairs HVAC, environmental and life-safety building systems, with particular attention to the maintenance and testing of fire and smoke dampers, stairwell pressurisation systems and smoke control systems. The firm states certification by both NEBB and TABB, and holds ICB/TABB Smoke Control Systems Contractor certificate FLS20929112C together with Fire and Smoke Damper Contractor certificate FLS10823012C. It is one of only two Texas holders of the smoke-control credential.
