Established in Dubai in 1995 and unusual in the region for combining an accredited fire testing laboratory, a certification body, a curtain wall testing laboratory and a façade consultancy in one organisation — which is why its name recurs on Gulf cladding and doorset evidence. Its laboratory is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by UKAS (4439) and by EIAC (188-LB-TEST) and ENAS, and it is approved by Civil Defence. The accredited scope covers reaction to fire, fire resistance, smoke control and building performance. The laboratory has moved from Ras Al Khor to Jebel Ali Industrial Area 1.
