United Fire Equipments Pvt. Ltd. makes fire protection equipment under the LIFEGUARD brand. Its range includes portable extinguishers, fire hydrant and hose reel systems, landing valves, detection and alarm systems, sprinkler and CO2 suppression systems. The firm dates from 1984 and its factory is at Mangolpuri Industrial Area, New Delhi. It supplies ONGC, BHEL, NTPC, DMRC, Indian Railways and CPWD. The company says it received its first BIS licence in 1998 and now holds a BIS (ISI mark) licence under IS 884 for its first-aid hose reels, among several BIS licences.
